Erin Earls is a native of New Orleans, LA. With a heritage deeply rooted in the Big Easy, this southern belle had always dreamed of owning a petite boutique establishment representative of her love for sweet treats and her hometown. Upon moving to Los Angeles in 2002, Erin decided that she would leave behind the world of hospital administration and stash away her Master of Public Health degree in pursuit of a career in the entertainment industry. Starting over career-wise, yielded opportunities in the highly glamorized and sought after fields of entertainment public relations and event planning. Erin has worked in publicity on a number of independent feature films, served as a Publicist at CBS Paramount Network Television and Hospitality & Project Manager at D.R. Valentine & Associates.

Jillian DeFrehn was born and raised in Miami, FL. She relocated to Boston, MA to attend Emerson College and holds a Bachelor of Communications. After being offered a prestigious internship at NBC, Jillian made the move to Los Angeles to begin an exciting career in entertainment publicity. With public relations and marketing experience on award winning television shows at NBC and CBS Paramount Network Television under her belt, Jillian segued to a boutique firm and expanded her PR scope to include personal and lifestyle publicity.

While working together at CBS Paramount Network Television, Erin and Jillian often discussed ideas for possible business ventures. In December 2007, Erin approached Jillian with an idea for a small business. No strangers to event planning, the two launched the catering arm of Nola Ice within weeks and opened their storefront in only six months.

Although a turn away from entertainment, Erin and Jillian routinely work within “Hollywood” at the private homes of celebrities, upscale events and on studio sets, serving up their posh sweets.
